Current availability
The value status: canceled remains part of the read contract because a provider or operator may report a cancellation. It does not promise that a client can cancel a queued or running generation.
What clients should do
- Keep the generation ID and continue normal status polling.
- Do not assume that abandoning polling cancels provider work or releases a hold.
- Do not promise users an automatic refund until a public cancellation and refund policy is documented.
